Exciting News!

It’s been a while since my last post. I’ve been doing a lot of designing and creating. I have so many ideas it’s hard to choose. I recently took a Fair Isle knitting class (sometimes called strand knitting or color work). I had so much fun in the class and learned so much. I’ve been working on the Soldotna Sweater lately and you can check it out below.

The most exciting news is that I’ve started making jewelry. Earrings and necklaces mixed with metals, leather, beads, stones, fabric and more. I’ve posted a few pics here so you can see what’s coming soon.

I’m still going to be doing my hand bound books, stitch markers/progress keepers and more …

Painted butterflies with beads and brass french loops

Here is the Fair Isle Sweater. I’m having so much fun with it. It’s hard to put it down.

I hope you will follow along with me and see what’s next. I have a few ideas that I am working on and will keep you posted as to what they are. I will leave you with this quote I saw in Instagram this morning that I wanted to share.

I think in 20 Years, we will regret more or the things we didn’t do than things we did imperfectly. — Jennie Allen

Designer and Couturiere. I love creating and designing whether it's jewelry, knitting /crocheting notions (stitch markers/progress keepers), hand bound journals, ephemera, cards or playing with mixed media. I love knitting, cooking, taking photographs, gardening, sitting outside and listening and enjoying nature. Married to a great husband who supports all my crazy ideas and have a silly Sheltie.
